I was so pissed off today cos the iPod refused to work and kept showing sad icons and cannot start. that started the adventure.
firstly.

age - 2 months
status - brand new
number of times dropped - 0
I treated it perfectly
18 august - 12am
I started up ipod in class. the stupid sad icon appeared over and over. after reseting useless and it kept appearing. i was getting so damn frustrated then i chose to bring it to the applecenter nearby in buit timah.
18 august - 3.40pm
weicheng accompanied me there. met an indian counter guy and he touched the Ipod and it miraculously worked like magic. magic fingers. indians are holy creatures after all.
relieved, I went back school.
18 august - 6pm
the way back home the stupid error appeared again. screw it. cannot fix le. i read up the apple.com/support/ipod WHOLE THING. including the 5 steps the 5 Rs the basic methods and advanced and the expert and the IF ALL ELSE FAILS resort. then I saw the last resort which was to open up the ipod itself and play with the internal electrical stuff. find the reset button. gay.
19 august - 9am.
went to school robotics. CANT WORK. how to survive 1 hour trip back and forth without music? HOW!?!?!?!
sad, i went to the APPLECENTER for the 2nd time. this time the guy ( not indian anymore) said he cant help need to go apple center. i almost wanted to throw the bloody ipod at his face. (read on to find out that if I'd done that it would have revived the ipod)
19 august - 10am - 2pm
freaking pissed off at the ipod. couldnt do anything and concentrate. kept thnking to burn down apple and ahem who sold me the ipod BECAUSE IT THE HARD DRIVE SPOIL REPLACE TAKE 300+++ DOLLARS. WTF.
19 august - 4.40pm - 7pm
pretended nothing happened to my ipod.
19 august - 7.30 pm
I SKIPPED DINNER
to try to fix the thing. to no avail. spent 3 hours till 9.30 pm to read up and call hotlines and call friends and read forums like hell.
even found out there's this secret diagnostic screen to test hard drive and power and stuff.
scanned and found out that the hard drive test FAILED. zibei.then restarting it again for the umpbillionth time to see the sad face.
the solution many of them gave which had the same probs as me :
DROP IT AT AROUND 1 METERS HIGH.
I COMTEMPLATED LIKE HELL.
then. i did it.
REIVIAL! REVELATION! REJOICE! HALLELUJAH!!!
IT FKING CAME BACK.
HOORAY.
OMG.
Estatic, told her about the how her ipod sucked bla bla bla then threantened to killh er if it spoils again.
read the forums and pple said that it was a temporary solution because the harddrive is still spoilt after all. so
God bless. please. please. if it hangs again im gonna KILL someone
