As a founding member and director of the student-run cca, the HwaChong Mage Guild, he is known to strive for his passion in his CCAs. He hosted HwaChong Sabbaticals, one-week long programs where a few students take up roles as mentors and give courses to other students.

He has also ran the Sabbaticals for Robotics CCA, where he has won various competitions with his team such as the First Robotics Singapore and The Interschool Micromouse Championships, proving to be a self-motivated indivudual.

Besides his involvement in his CCAs, he has also been awarded a Distinction for his Service-Learning Project in 2006, exemplifying his broad range of skills.
